Itinerary description
Viladrau to Matagalls, out & back. This starts 1.8km from the village centre (Placa Major), up Passeg Ramon Bollil. The first part is easy farm track, then steeper but still clear to follow narrow track. This then disappears and I scrambled up / down steep terrain to reach the plateau. From there it is all straightforward. Stunning views. Many geckos, much lichen, beautiful trees. There must be a more obvious way of hiking up from Viladrau but I don't know where it is!
