Itinerary description
Incredible hike. It is optional to hike from Billaluenga to the initial carpark and that adds 1.8km.
The initial part is easy and downhill and takes you down towards Los Llanos. At km3.9 it appears you could veer East and walk through the Llanos themselves. But we veer South West.
km 5.5 to 7.3 is less exact as to where you need to walk. But it is beautiful and worth the trip. At the very end of the hike, by the Lapiaz, there is a lot of brush and undergrowth and it becomes uncomfortable to walk. But great to reach the Lapiaz and the edge of the waterfall.
The section to definitely remove is 8.1km to 9.3km which is confusing and full of bushes, bracken, lost trails and a fence. You should definitely cut back across to the point at km 5.5 and leave the trail to rejoin the section at 9.3km.
The rest of the trail follows a fire break all the way up to the carpark.
