Itinerary description
Very nice hike but difficult, I ran off battery that's why the path stops on the way back but it stops juste when returning to the main path.
The view from the top is stunning, you can see all the volcanos around and also see and ear the volcano Fuego eruptions... Gives you goosebumps... There is a lot of chances to see some very different birds like some toucans and if you're lucky you may pass by a Quetzal bird or a wild Puma...
2L water per person minimum and good walking shoes required.
The most amazing hike we ever did...
WARNING : if you go there by yourself without a guide we highly recommend to take the same way back because the loop is very difficult, it's an old path very difficult to follow and you will need a machete to make your way through... We really enjoyed this loop though but it's so easy to loose yourself in the rain forest so please be careful...
