Itinerary description
Single day winter hike from Voronenko to Kukul ridge up to Kukul summit and then down to Vorokhta. Route take 9 hours with all stops. Views from the ridge to Chornohora and other neighbor ridges are stunning. The only downside here is the state of the roads near the villages. A few kilometers from the each side are wasted by tracks and 4x4s, so be prepared if you are going to take this route in a wet conditions.
This route is packed with huts comparing to others in Ukrainian Carpathians, so it is a great option for an easy multiday winter tracking. Water is not a problem. There are plenty of sources on the way and all sources near the path were live in January.
