In ancient times between the small fields there used to be built small staircases for communication between terraces.

Due to the characteristic humidity of this area and the extensive cultivation of corn, in the last centuries folks have built ‘Canastros’ to store the harvested corn, protecting it from rats and the humidity keeping the air flowing.
Tribute to the souls - Cristian worship
Traditional worship spot where, allegedly, someone once died, used now to pray for the souls of the ones that passed away.

In this area there used to be built small dams out of the small rivers in both hillsides that converge to the large valley. These dams were used for watering the fields down the stream.
