Itinerary description

Beautifully scenic, long loop around the base of Puig Roig. Starting at the Mossa Estate, private property which allows access only on Sunday’s. From here you hike to the Coll des Ases, Pas d’en Segarra, side-trip to the old police barracks then on past Es Cosconar houses which are built into the cliff caves and worth a trip on their own. From here a road leads through the Aubarca estate to the Lluc sanctuary and onto the Pixarells trail to connect back to the beginning.

One of the classic routes views of the Tramuntana with beautiful panoramic views of the North Coast of Mallorca.

Old Police Barracks

This Barracks was built in in order to prevent and combat the smuggling of alcohol and tobacco, generally very abundant in this area. It was abandoned in 1930.
