Itinerary description
Wadi Attun Is a relatively unknown Wadi leading to natural hot springs with hot water, palm trees and waterfalls. The wadi is surrounded by high cliffs of red stone and has an abundance of ferns and other vegetation.
It os definitely one of my favourite Wadi’s because it is unknown and you most likely will be wandering by yourself. It is surprisingly clean and untouched.
There is one relatively challenging boulder to pass. People have left wood and a rope behind to help you climb the boulder of 3m. I found it really doable, but would advice to hike the Wadi in a small group in order to be able to give a hand to those less physically fit. At 2/3 pf the Wadi, there is a large waterfall, which you can pass by hiking up at the right side of the Wadi through the vegetation. The end os rewarding, with finishing at a beautiful sikh and waterfall. There is a ladder that allows you to hike even further, but we decided to turn around.
The Wadi is easily accessible from the road at the dead sea, where you can park your car.
Enjoy!

Hello, how far from the beginning is the challenging boulder ? il it worth hiking this wadi until the boulder only ?
Hello! It is a short wadi and the boulder is already after a km or so. Would probably choose a different wadi instead!
Now it's close. Not safety.
