Itinerary description
A mix of solo hiking, trail running and some meditation in coronavirus social distancing time! Back to my favorite place in all seasons. Spring time at Wadi el Salib which makes trail running pleasant without summer heat. Starting from the lowest point after Deir Chemra village and going up till the old bridge (you can visit the old houses on your way). From the old bridge, you can reach 3 towns: Faytroun, Qlayaat and Kfardebian. I reached them in this order but you can do it in any order. Note that the trails to Feytroun and Qleiaat share a common part. I reached the first building or house in each town, so it's easier to use google maps in case you want to start the hike from any of the three towns. While the valley, Qlayaat and Feytroun trails are well maintained, Kfardebian trail is more challenging for trail running (easy for hiking). The trails done here are easy to find and follow. I already tried to hike The Christ and Jouar trails but couldn't find a clear trail. Avoid them if you are not searching for trouble! Total ascent around 1000 m for 15 km of nice trails. Enjoy and keep our Lebanon clean!

Hi Rami. Thanks for tracking this trail. Is this the one that includes the kfardebiane waterfall and a part along a river?
Hi. This trail doesn't include Kfardebian waterfall which is located higher in Kfardebian (Nabeh el Laban). My trail is in wadi el salib where Nahr el Kalb runs.

I only did the Feytroon and Qlayaat sections and they were very easy to follow.
Hello Mr Rachkidi, I am willing to do half of the trail from Kfardebiane Saha down and then back do you advise? I have already done part from down up and it is very pleasant
Hello Nagib. Yes it will be very pleasant! Once you catch the top of my recorded trail in Kfardebian, you can go down to the old stone bridge and continue on any part of tge trail before going back to Kfardebian. Enjoy your hike and happy new year!
Thank you doctor and Happy New Year to you and your family

Brilliant trail, one of the best I've done in Lebanon. Good footpaths and clear guidance from Rami
