Itinerary description
2 nice waterfalls, and trail is generally easy with a few boulders to scramble over.
Looks like occasional effluent discharge entering the wadi about 2 miles from parking lot. Much evidence of algae bloom and fish kill. Inbound hike in was nice, but outflow was active for outbound hike out making the return less enjoyable. Grateful to have brought spare socks and shoes.
The number of free falling waterfalls in this wadi make it an obvious choice for tourism development, but that’ll never work unless the effluent flow is addressed.

Went there yesterday, there's a new Dam that's been erected recently there now, so the trail head has completely shifted inwards by about 2 km.
I have also had a conversation with a field water engineer working at the Water Authority there responsible for the dam, and he recommended not going in the water as some significant sewage discharge is mixed with the water outflow there. Just an FYI for whoever else sees this and wants to hike there as I did.
