Itinerary description
A fun wadi to explore. Park in the Mövenpick or Marriot hotel parking lot. The wadi begins across the road. A stream runs in the wadi, but no parts are deep enough for swimming.

I did the same as RockNPaul (thanks to him) ,except I followed the river almost all the way up and down.
good trail, except the horrible "trekking jordan" painted in blue in every obvious rock.
We did the same hike. Requires quite a lot of climbing up - I needed a hand a few times. We met some people coming back who had kept going up to a swimming spot, which I think would have taken us 4 hours to the spot from the start of the hike. The walk back took half the time as the walk up. Frogs and crabs along the way.
