Itinerary description
Staying in hotel 'Al Lago' in Zahara de la Sierra we wanted to do the 'Walk of the griffon vultures' that we encountered in the binder that the hotel staff provided. This walk can also be found in the walking guide of Guy Hunter-Watts (Walking in Andalucia - walk 12: Zahara de la Sierra circuit).
Unfortunately several waymarking points had been changed or simply vanished, so we could not complete the walk. Had I only had a file for my Garmin!
At home I tried to make a track on the map and turn it into a GPX file. The walk starts at hotel Al Lago, but you can choose to park your car in the parking ground. Have fun!
