Wasfi Al Tal Forest is absolutely stunning - a well maintained trail sweeping through hills covered by pine trees. Easy to reach from Amman (25 min drive). Parking space available at start of the trail.

Beautiful trail, back sections feel nice and remote. Front sections have a lot of rubbish unfortunately. Gorgeous views throughout, especially descending from the highest point. Last 1.5km are very steep but otherwise an easy trail. End part goes by a sheep paddock guarded by some feisty dogs, but keep your distance (go up the hill a bit if necessary) and you’ll have no trouble.
Looks great hiking trail. I will try it soon. Anyone know if it is suitable for biking as well?

The end of the trail goes by/through farms. Lots and lots of barking dogs and local kids.
We did 50% of the trail. Once in the weekend and once on a Thursday morning. Both counter-clockwise and then cut off to get back. Very nice trail. The part we saw was a rocky dirtroad. For the most part doable with a regular car or truck. Very stunning views. Not many people except in the beginning during the weekend. Families that park next to the trail and picknick or bbq. Some trash but ok. Some flocks of cheep together with a sheepdog. Very nice to hike mountainbike, run or walk your dog. Just stay clear of the sheep to avoid their watchdog. Do to the trees plenty of shade to avoid the sun on hot days. Thank you for sharing!
