Itinerary description
One warning (hence why marked as very difficult): near the end (just before the Buraco waterfall) there is a traverse of a steep slope via a narrow ledge of rockless path of just soil with loose far edge - always put your feet as deep into ledge as possible (don't think there is ground on far edge where leaves are - some of this is plant matter just hangs on sticks) and step gently (the small roots holding the soil break and the steps can let go).
A beautiful trail, little trodden, but currently attempts by locals are made at clearing it (help doing it by cutting the invasive bananila plant - originally from the Himalayas) and putting signage, deep in the laurasilva forest.
Note I made a 5 minute wrong way visible as a back and forth colon towards the west. You can ignore it and cut it short.
