Itinerary description
Walk, from the outskirts of Hervas (Extremadura, Spain), near Casa Marinejo, to La Chorrera, a waterfall near the birth of Ambroz river. Route is suitable for children, although there are some difficult spots for them. Route is nicely signed (yellow and white marks on stones). At the end of the route you can have a bath, if you don't mind cold water. About half the route is in the shadow. Return can be made through the same path. GPS tracking is a bit flaky, but probably you can get the idea. You can also ask for details in Hervas tourist office (they have a nice brochure, with enough indications to follow the route). The route can also be started from Hervas, but that will add about one extra hour, uphill.
