Itinerary description
This is an amazing trek along the west coast of Vancouver Island. It is a difficult trek since you have to carry all your gear and food for 5-8 days, depending on how fast you do it.
It is possible to do the trek on your own (you need to get the permits and be careful when using tide charts) or through companies that take care of the logistics. I did it with Sea to Sky Expeditions, a company that has more than 25 years of experience offering this specific trek. Expect to get wet and muddy. Preparing yourself and choosing the right gear are what makes you enjoy the trek rather than surviving it....
