Itinerary description

This is a great urban hike around Westwood Lake and through the Morrell Nature Sanctuary (a teaching forest). The trails are well groomed and signed with gentle grades and mostly in forest shade.

There is a swimming beach at the trailhead with change rooms & washrooms. There are toilets at the midpoint of this hike.

(Apologies for lack of pic's in the Morrell - phone battery issues).

The Retreads Hiking Club gives this hike an AVA rating of 1 B.
