Itinerary description
Walk along Wadi Shaab, one of the most scenic wadis in Oman. It starts from the sea and follows the wadi for 3 kms approximately. On your way you will find many pools and oasis-like landscapes. The starting point is just below the main road bridge and you reach it by leaving the road to the village next to the beach. You will need a boat for the first wadi crossing (those are provided by the villagers). Some easy boulder climbing is necessary to follow the track.

Bellissimo wadi ed escursione. Dalla strada muscat-sur uscire al villaggio di.... Parcheggiata l'auto sotto il ponte si prende un passaggio in barca per attraversare il laghetto creato dallo sbarramento del wadi. Poi si risale il wadi per circa tre km per un percorso facile da seguire ma con gradoni e massi non difficili ma che richiedono un minimo di "fisicità'" . Salendo si incontrano pozze di acqua cristallina e palme mentre la gola si stringe sempre più. In cima il sentiero prosegue mantenendo la sx orografica ma un certo punto è franato. È' invece possibile risalire il wadi nel fiume nuotando e camminando e questa è un'esperienza bellissima (dall'alto della valle si sentono le grida di gioi dei ragazzi che giocano ) .
