Itinerary description
This beautiful wetlands is so peaceful for a couple of hours of easy flat walking. On the day that I did it, it was a hot, dry Sunday morning and so there weren't many of the kangaroos about, but there were certainly evidence that they still present in this beautiful location. The waterhide overlooking the estuary about halfway around, is a beautiful spot to observe the many visiting waterbirds such as ducks, egrets and many others. A nice walk not far from the north Brisbane suburb of Bald Hills.
