Itinerary description
This route is not long nor physically strenuous, but I have labelled it as difficult because the ground is frequently steep and slippery.
Take the MTR to Tai Shui Wai and then take a green taxi to Ling To monastery. Have a look around the monastery. The footpath starts by going down the steps on the opposite side of the car park to the monastery. Immediately you cross over a small stream and start heading uphill. At the footpath junction you can go either way - both paths lead to the summit of Yuen Tau Shan.
Descend the south side of the hill, and follow the obvious footpath along the ridge. There are a few descents off the main ridge to the left. We took the one that leads to Siu Hong, and finished at Siu Hong MTR.
