Thanks for your support👍

This is a lovely trail going through the beautiful Zaarour Mountain with Stunning views at the Summit, Mount Sannine and Mount Mzaar seen nearby, and Mount Kneisseh from distance among many nice valleys..

This trail starts from Mrouj village near Mar Takla Church and heads upwards to just before Nabaa Bqellaia where you go right then left..continuing on my gpx path until reaching a tough terrain path..be careful..ascending through it as seen in photos..until you reach an open area..Wadi El Amine is on your right side..take left direction toward Zaarour Lake/Club then to Zaarour lower Ski Station, from there I started a Steep Vertical Ascent all the way beside the lower-middle-higher ski stations to Zaarour Summit amazing scenic views and overall atmosphere...enjoy..
An alternative to the vertical ascent toward Zaarour Summit is not going to Zaarour lake but continuing from above Wadi El Amine on clear easy path that will reach you after some distance to Zaarour Summit.
This alternative will save you the loss of elevation then need to regain it and more..consistently through Zaarour ascent(for experts only) so way more difficult than continuing Wadi El Amine path where you're already up there..gaining elevation slowly..
From Zaarour Summit you continue on rough terrain, will have to jump on rocks on the Mountain Crête/Ridge all the way to the Cross just before the round point where the right road goes to Sannine..
Below the White Big Cross..after the garden seen in photo..you take left side then continue down then go left and continue so...walking on the Top Edge of the valley where the views are beautiful also seeing Mount Zaarour from distance, don't go into the valley..that's an irrelevant path.
Be cautious hiking on high edge of the valley especially when passing through the 2 pools as seen in photo...very slippery due to stream crossing, muddy rocks and ground..,then you reach an open area and a steep dangerous descent(be careful as seen in photo)..will be waiting for you to reach the paved road..
Then you cross the paved road to head toward Nabaa Mamboukh, I took shortcut here..
The path later is clear all the way until the nice bridge before the start of the long pipes..
Wonderful views at Mounts Sannine and Mzaar
Then long descent through the pipes, be careful at this period of year due to humidity and muddy ground..and valley just under your legs..
The path is marked from here...all the way to the artificial lake before Nabaa Bqellaia, there are nice views and Ancient rock arts from Roman times..then you catch a clear road all the way to Wata Al Mrouj.

Personally, enjoyed this trail as felt in good shape and the sensation at Zaarour Summit was tempting especially after the long ascent.

This trail is for experts only, it consists of dangerous paths, rough terrain accompanied by long distance and high elevation gain.

You can use part of it according to your hiking level.
