Itinerary description
Distance is more like 16km and height more likely 800. Wikiloc has recorded different on all our phones.
Circular hike starting from the carpark and up towards the Cave. Then lots of scrambling and climbing over rocks along the ridge. The first scramble was quite difficult with some drop offs. NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH VERTIGO. 2nd ridge was easier but there was one small drop which was difficult to get down from. Onwards from this area the trail was wider and easier. It is not a path that is well used but the views from up there are amazing. You can see Sierra Nevada which is snow capped today. Then across to La Maroma.also snow capped and all down the coast. Would only recommend this for experienced hikers due to the scrambling and climbing.
