Itinerary description
Gentle climb through a closed in valley followed by a long walk out with some spectacular views to finish. Lots of leg scratching gorse at ankle level so beware!

We did this trail in early December. The weather was perfect and the scenery gorgeous. However, parts of the trail were closed due to private hunting, another part was listed as "closed if you do not have permission" and on the final descent we came across a gate across the road. Behind the gate were 4 large dogs. They all came under the gate towards us and our small dog. To be fair goats were coming down the hill and they were protecting the goats but it was momentarily alarming! We were all fine in the end, but this trail came with more "adventures" than I had planned on!
