Itinerary description
Cheryl on Santiago, and I was on Lujoso and Lisa Garrison (my travel nurse) was on Ela. We attempted to ride to Sawtooth Lake or at least to Alpine and then hike up to Sawtooth to see if they fixed the blowout on the trail for horses. We only got to the first bad granite rock area because it was raining and too slick to proceed. We turned around and loaded horses and went to sit at Stanley Lake to eat our salads.
