Itinerary description
Bear Creek Hot Spring created a travertine terrace over thousands of years just like Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone. Interestingly there is a cold spring just a few hundred feet away. The terrace now has a layer of soil, and Douglas Fir have gained a foothold.
