Itinerary description
This ride is in Sawmill Canyon. It starts by going up a four-wheeler road. At the top, it then follows a road that is closed to motorized travel. There was significant downfall across the road but It was not hard to go around. The most scenic part of the trip were the meadows. At times the trail disappeared but soon showed up again. Near the bottom, we rode around Mill Creek Lake. This lake was formed by a landslide, so the waters exit by percolating down through the rocks.
The ride is rated difficult only because of its length and climbing. There is no danger. All rides in Sawmill canyon are rocky.
