Itinerary description
The trailhead is a large parking area high up on the N Fork of Rainy Creek. The road to the trailhead starts at Pine Creek Pass (NF-253). This trailhead is the lunch spot for the Rainy Creek Ride.
The trek was done to scout for elk and deer and to test out my packing ability. I saw very little sign of animals or humans. The trip could have been done in two days but I was not in a hurry and I wanted the trails to dry after a light rain.
