Itinerary description
Golden Gate is an exciting loop into the country north of Bear Creek. During the last half of the ride you travel along high ridges. I don't know where the name "Golden Gate" comes from. it is a location labeled on Forrest Service and USGS maps where the trail divides and the descent back to Bear Creek begins.
