Itinerary description
Hit the trail near Akner village, then continue through Tsaghkashat gorge. After passing 2 km through the wooded hills rising above the gorge, make your descent down the mountain stream (600 m). Ride across the stream and have a lunch in one of the riverside picnic areas. Following lunch, ride along the stream about 2 km, then take right. Another 2 km ascending path on the slopes of Surb Luis mountain will lead you to the 10th-century Haghpat monastery:
