Itinerary description
Our trip to Yellowstone is an overnighter. The group visits Hayden Valley on one day then stays overnight in Gardinar Montana. Some rent a room in Gardinar, others camp outside town at the Eagle Creek Campground. The campground conveniently has six horse corrals.
The next day the group moves to Lamar Valley (see ride of same name). I only went once so I can only say that Hayden Valley had more buffalo. Could be different each year. Lamar Valley on the other hand, was more interesting because the Lamar River ran through it.
