Itinerary description
This is a planned ride. The club has ridden on Little Elk Creek before sometimes coming over from Palisades Lake and Waterfall Canyon. Coming from that direction makes for a very long rugged ride and needs a shuttle between trail heads.
This proposed ride which I plan to scout in 2019 is a slightly less rugged ride but should have wonderful views in all directions at the top. There is a section of trail at the top called Waterfall Crest "FS 109". This the section that connects the two drainages. I have no information about this 2-mile section of the trail.
