Itinerary description
This was my initial visit to the Sawmill Creek drainage. I led a couple of pack horses for a family trip. Raspberries in meadow below the lake. There are campsites right before you reach the lake. We camped at the far end of the lake, but it was hard to find a flat space for tents. There is a campground at the trailhead, no water, $5/night. There are some small rainbow in the lake and a lot of Kokanee fingerlings. I intend to explore more of Sawmill Creek drainage trails in the coming years.
