Itinerary description
The reason this ride is called Pine Creek is that the trailhead is accessed by turning off Pine Creek Rd (ID Hwy 31) then following Pine Creek Bench Rd to parking next to Farm Fields. The owners of the fields do not want parking on the fields for fear of fire. If it has rained the the first part of the trail going down will be very slippery.
The main ride is along the basalt cliff rim on the NE side of the Snake River. However, riders may decide to turn up Dry Canyon instead. There is also an option to ride down to the river for lunch.
