Itinerary description
The ride is an 8 mile up and back
Indians put their dead on rock shelves to keep them from animals. Locals still remember seeing remnants of ladders. Copper mines are located in the canyon.
From the trailhead you may ride SE and come to a fenced area protecting petroglyphs. OnX maps did not show who owns this farmland but it is private property.
