Itinerary description

This ride starts at Moose Creek by Victor, Wyoming. It then turns up Mesquite Creek and finally climbs to the top of Taylor Mountain. The group complained that the leg going up Taylor Mountain was just too much climbing so some turned back to Moose Creek, and some rode down a very steep trail to the Teton Pass Highway and hitchhiked back to their vehicles.

It was our first time on this route. Rod and I had studied maps and had the track in our GPS. Sometimes we could not find the trail because wildflowers had overgrown the path. Other times the trail was easy to follow. Going down from from Taylor Mountain the trail mildly dipped into three drainages before following a ridge back to the vehicles. I thought it was a great ride and no harder than a majority of rides we do in late summer.
