Itinerary description
Drove 75 minutes to 4th July trail head. Then rode to 4th Of July lake, on to Washington Lake, and 1.5 hours on to summit overlooking Chamberlin Lake basin and Castle Peak beyond. I rode Pisco and Cheryl was on Santiago. Got back to cabin at 11 pm. I had only sunglasses on and we were riding in the dark on the way back. Glad I had regular glasses in the truck!
