Itinerary description
Circumnavigation of Børøya with a "small" detour to Tvedestrand. Beware of boats during the summer holiday seasson, tends to get very busy and, unfortunately, there are a surprising ammount of Norwegian boat owners with more money than (boat) sense! On reaching Tvedestrand, there are no suitable spots to beach the boats, so the only option are some wide steps leading into the sea from the town quay. If those are blocked by boats, as they were on this day, the only option is to climb up onto the wooden jetty from the boats.
