Itinerary description

Fresh wind from northwest made me stay leeward from the islands. This way the waves didn’t slow me down. I circled through Lundsvågen, passed Naturskolen before reaching Lundsneset. I briefly considered going “Hundvåg rundt” - feasible, but slow against waves and wind. Instead I surfed eastwards to round Langøy. On the eastern side of the island the sea was calm again. I also rounded Roaldsøy and passed through the tunnel between Ormøy and Roaldsøy. After crossing Dragabergvika I went into Galeivågen all the way to Hundvågkrossen. With tailwind I was back home in no time.

15 years back, this was a shipyard where ships were broken up. Now a residential area with signs advising that fishing is not recommended due to the pollution of the sea floor.
