Itinerary description
What a luck! Chains of shower clouds in the East and West - and me in the middle under blue sky. Dramatic clouds in all directions.
I used the light NW wind and crossed Åmøyfjorden head on. I rounded the island paradise Lineholmene west of Åmøy and returned with tailwind. A large iron ore bulk carrier ‘Adam Schulte’ under Singaporean flag anchored in the center of the fjord. A smaller ship lay alongside and was loaded with the South African iron ore. The ships were an ‘entertainment’ on the long fjord crossing.
