Itinerary description
Beautiful two day paddle, lovely camping spot. This is an official free spot, you will be sharing it with others - before you get to it, there are a few places where two people could camp discretely. But if you are a bigger group, you need to stop here.
The hike shown on the track is worth it for spectacular views, but the path is very rough and steep.
We had our own kayaks, with two cars it is a very easy 30 minute shuttle to get the vehicles back. Paid car parking at both ends. You could also get back to a vehicle using the local bus. Or you could bring your kayaks back on the ferry.
You can easily join a guided kayak group doing this trip. I don't know if you can rent kayaks to go on your own.
