Itinerary description
Hwy 40 river gauge 5.5 ft; Hwy 190 gauge 10.3 ft.
Many snags, many drag overs over said snags. Beautiful and unspoiled except for a little litter; few houses or civilization. Three hours with only one short stop. Did with 11 ft semi-open kayaks. Anything longer could be problematic in places. No good parking at the Highway 40 bridge put-in. We had private place to take out, but the La 1077 bridge is just probably a half hour or less further downstream.
