Itinerary description
Sunday 10 sep 2017. Very pretty route and placid water (exception of regular touristic ships every 30 minutes or so). Start in Flüelen harbour, cross over to the western side of the lake, and lunch and pit stop in Bauen..From there follow cliffs till Rütli and continue until the Schillerstein. From the Schillerstein you will sight the harbour in Brunnen and can make a straight dash to the harbour. From Bauen there are not a lot of places to stop in. Overall 5 hours at a very leisurely touristic pace. The best is the impressive vertical cliffs facing the lake in the section between Bauen and Rütli. Done in a guided group of 4 kayaks.
