Free ferry that connects Manhattan with Staten Island.
Pass in front of the Statue of Liberty and enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Manhattan Skyline.
STATEN ISLAND
Staten Island or Staten Island is a DISTRICT of the city of New York, coextensive with Richmond County, in the state of New York (United States). Located in the southwestern part of the city, it is separated from New Jersey by Arthur Kill and Kill Van Kull and from the rest of New York by New York Bay. With a population of 495,747 at the 2020 census, Staten Island is the least populous municipality but the third largest in area at 152 km².
NOTICE: The route described as well as the track and waypoints I have downloaded from my GPS after doing it personally. Even so, you should consider them merely indicative. The tracks do not always mark the exact itinerary, therefore they may contain errors, this is due to the fact that during the recording by GPS the reception of the satellites may be weak, especially in areas of ravines, deep gorges, areas of thick forest, etc. It is the responsibility of whoever performs them, the appropriate security measures for each difficulty, which will depend on the weather CONDITIONS, as well as the technical and physical preparation of the person who performs them.
I always recommend going accompanied to the mountain, notifying an acquaintance or family member of our itinerary and expected times, carrying the phone with a sufficient charge, water, food and adequate shelter for the time and route to be carried out.
Leave everything as it was or better so that we can all continue to enjoy it and that the only traces of your step are those of your boots.
