Itinerary description
One of the best riding tracks I know. It starts in Barcelona, and the first section is Collbató, on the foothills of Montserrat. Excellent pavement, pure joy (see video). From there track descends towards Manresa (Police may be there, sometimes patroling from a heli), a stretch of Highway until Balsareny, from there 15 Km of exhilarating road of chained curves. Then to Solsona (beautiful castle in Cardona which is seen from the road. Better to see it early in the morning, shining under the sun. From Solsona, excellent road, a lot of curves, some of them rather nasty. The descent towards Cambril, open curves visibility... Then, from Cambrils to Coll de Nargo the road is beautiful, it goes through a gorge. In this road you may find either a gathering of Ferraris and Porsches coming all over Europe, or the comparison between Rolls Royce Cullinan and Lamborghini Urus for Car and Driver. And to end the trip "en beauté", 20 km of pure joy, in the middle of nowhere. You must leave the main road Barcelona - Andorra just before a left and a bridge, and you take the road towards Peramola. Fast curves, full visibility, no traffic.
