The night has been how it started. Rainy Rain that is still present. Moments that is weak, intense moments, and moments of calm.
With the chiringuito dismantled, I address what yesterday remained pending: Sorvagen, Tind and A.
These corners, if with rain, cloudy skies and grays are beautiful, a day of radiant sun has to be, fascinating !! ... it has to be? ..... IT IS !!. The images of low-lying snow-capped mountains, and their bases of a verdure as if from high mountain meadows were to the very edge of the sea, is indescribable.
The Lofoten, is an archipelago of islands connected to each other. Well by bridges, or tunnels being Ronessvarg the southernmost town, and Andenes the farthest north, a little more than three hundred kilometers apart. Its inhabitants live from the sea and tourism. The only way to access and exit them is by boat or plane, as long as the aircraft are small. The airports of these islands are of small capacity. Of all the places you pass, it is difficult to opt for so many beautiful corners, but there is one in particular that looks like a dream postcard: REINE. Even in spite of the rain, I found it idyllic.
To leave the islands, in my case I chose to do it on the northernmost part, by Andenes, on the Island of Andoya, and from this town in transfer to Gryllefjord on the Island of Senja, but before leaving the Lofoten, between Leknes and Bostad, you have to visit the Lofotr Viking Museum. The Viking Museum where we will know the life and history of the Scandinavian peoples.
In Andenes, the vehicles in the terminal patiently await the arrival of the Ferry. The sky is still cloudy and there is some wind.
Once the ship is out of the harbor shelter, the sea is rough and hits the hull of the ship. Although non-violent, moves the boat. From Andenes to Gryllefjord there are about forty kilometers and it takes less than two hours to make the crossing. During it, it rains again moderately.
Gryllefjord is located on the island of Senja (as I mentioned earlier) at the entrance to a fjord of the North Sea, or sea of Norway. The hours are advancing and we have to find shelter for tonight and looking for a Camping in the motorbike's navigator.
On my way, in Svanelymoen I see a sign for Camping and I'm heading towards it. When arriving at Brygghaugen, the road becomes a track of mud and with enough sinkholes ... desiring the way to continue the road that I left and kilometers later I see again the poster of the same Camping. I leave my path and I turn right onto highway 860. In little more than a kilometer the indication of the campsite is on the right. The road is again a dirt track but in better condition than the previous one. With caution I interned for her. In the Camping, I opt for a cabin. There is excessive humidity and I want to sleep in a bed, because tomorrow will be another day, and if everything goes well ... it will be a great day ...
