- The tarmac from Samburu to Kinango we well paved with well marked bumps and road signs.
- It's windy, so expect crosswinds and a headwind.
From Kinango to Mkangao is all dirt.
- It has a mixture of fesh fesh, murram, sand traps, rills, gulleys and rocky outcrops...the latter are numerous.
- Ride slow and steady, Maximum 60kph is the best you can hope to do.
There is a waypoint marked for a diversion that has twisties.
- Watch out for livestock and kids.
