Itinerary description
I have given this ride/explore starting from Ulea as dificult as there are some steep climbs. and if you do this track the otherway you will find some technical decents as you get close to Ricote.
The trasvase spans this vally, and is very impressive to see.
Winter. do this in reverse as you will have a long climb in the shade of trees, so you wont get too hot, then you can enjoy the down in the sun.
I did it going from Ulea/Ojos to see how well linked this ride is. trying to avoid the road. the is a PR that goes from Archena to Ricote that some parts are ridable. Some of the roads through the huerta have locked gates. I have maked one with a waypoint no.16. here it was a shame as i would have linked up with a pr los leñeros and then the main track.
The main part in the valley is wide forest track. when you get back to the main road there is no bridge back over to Ulea. so I suggest starting and finishing in Villanueva del rio Segura.
