Itinerary description
Yesterday, at 7.30, early in the morning, I started to ride on a mountain bike from Barcelona PG train station. I had to arrive at Llinars train station before 11.15.
When you are in route and you know the time you need to arrive at your destination, you are allowed to ride in a relaxing way. The day before I had decided to take only one train. Instead of waiting the next train to travel to Mollet, I started to ride. I knew I would need no more than 2.5 hours to the destination. But I had more than 3.5 hours. In short, I had one spare hour to ride in random roads. Then, I decided that, between Mollet and Granollers, no more than 10 km from one to another, I could ride 20 km.
I was riding by different paths, along different places, river roads and local roads. I was riding almost 5 km through unknown roads. All the time in a constant pace.
When I arrived in Granollers, I had more than 1 hour to make 14 km. I began to speed a little bit faster, because I didn’t know exactly how much I would need to arrive to Llinars. When I was less than 8 km away from my destination, I had time to help another biker (he needed a tool, that I lent him). Finally, I was going to arrive 10 minutes before the hour in time-table, I made a round trip, 1 km more, and arrived at the station from ahead. A quiet journey, but not a boring journey.
