8 - Route across the Land of Bread (Roales y Valcabado)

- Leave the Town Hall on our left and go down Calle Costanilla to the roundabout. By the second exit of the roundabout, continue straight and head up Cuesta de la Morana. At the second traffic light, half way up, go slightly left onto Calle de la Hiniesta. At 500m, there is a double option on the left, continue on the second, El Camino de la Lobata. Follow to Ermita del Cristo de Valderrey (1) and continue winding until the road ZA -P-1405. Km 5.0

Find the highway on the left and, to go under, take the dirt road next to the stream. Follow it until the end. Then, turn right towards the village of Roales del Pan. Km 8.5

From the church of Roales (2) cross towards the pool, but before the pool turn right to Calle Avedillo and bike until it ends. After, turn left and follow the road to Valcabado, (3) & (4). Km 11.2

Stick to the road, to leave the village, until the end. Then, turn right onto the road from Zamora to Moreruela. At 200m turn left on the second dirt road, next to the green fence of a house, and continue until the end. Km 14.5

100m on the right turn 340º at the roundabout, to make about 80m on the road before going right onto the first dirt road. Continue towards the Valderaduey river and a few meters after the bend in the grove turn right and at the next junction again. With the highway on the back and parallel to the river return to Zamora. Cross the bridge and always next to the railway, continue to the Renfe station (5), to the bus station and return to the Plaza Mayor. Km 20.5
