BCNVBB-03-REMUNTANT EL BESOS I CONGOST. DE BARCELONA A LA GARRIGA
Length: 72 km BIKE: MTB Acummulated elevation: 226 m.
Ruta que recorre per tot l'interior del riu Besós i el Congost, des de Barcelona fins a la Garriga passant per Granollers.
DESCRIPTION:
The route starts in Barcelona, to take the park of Besos, and inside the river it goes to Montcada and till Montmeló, when you turn left to take Congost river. You pass along the park fluvial of Granollers and then head to La Garriga. The rest is the way of return to Barcelona.
POINTS OF INTEREST:
- Besos park fluvial.
- La Garriga town.
- Civil War airport of Rosanes, near La Garriga.
DIFICULTIES:
Very flat route. Inside park Besos, is a paved bike line. Till Montmelo, you pass in non paved paths inside the river, sometimes rocky, sometimes sandy, but in general good path. The rest to La Garriga is almost all paved bike lines along the river Congost.
