Itinerary description

Starting from the Wooden hut, easy riding anti-clockwise around San Miguel before dropping into the town, negotiate the traffic and head down to the Rio Argos, steady climbing parallel with Molino on good fire trails to the crest of the hill, fast riding all the way down to the road, follow road before a track takes you down to the bans of the dam, follow round (May be flooded) until it climbs back up to the road, steady climbing on a good trail to the junction, steep climbing at first then eases, follow trail to the top and a good fast decent to a cairn on the left, good single-track at first but the trail becomes hard to follow and has some small sections which are un-rideable, this soon eases and a good fire trails turns into a good road, continue along until a trails leads uphill on the left, good climb at first but about half way up it is hard to follow, the last 300-400m is un-rideable and a bike carry is needed, rejoin track and follow it fast with care looking for a junction on the left, a small climb uphill brings you to some excellent single-track although short lived, drop into the abandoned village where some sections have to be walked, rejoin the main track and follow back into town heading for the church, a good steep climb overlooking the gorge to some cave carved through the hillside, continue down (Technical) to join the road, follow down until it brings you to the Segura, follow road all the way to the Sanctuary, pass through and continue past the campsite all the way to the L'andalucia Bar for refreshments.

A good route although doesn't quite flow due to the un-rideable sections, some small technical single-track sections which are good but short lived and some really good short sharp hill sections.
